Preview of the Index that goes with MY SKATING LIFE - Fifty Plus Years of Skating - Thank You to Ellen Phillips!

This is AMAZING!  Thank you Ellen Phillips for putting this together for me!  Ellen was involved with roller skating for over 25 years competitively and professionally.  She has six US roller dance titles including three gold medals as well as her gold test dance medal in artistic roller skating. Ellen is involved with Pikes Peak Writers and working on a novel and her own skating memoir while growing her indexing business.  She currently resides in Colorado Springs with her husband Robert and her two children.

So many people, places, events, subjects are included in my book.  A second version will soon be available with this index in the back.

Visit With Gary Forman and Darlene Gilbert! 1-18 and 1-19-2015

It's a long story that has to be read in my book, but if it wasn't for my dad, Darlene Gilbert may not have come to southern California to teach.  Gary Forman and I were her first ice dance team in southern California...the year was 1970.

On Sunday, 1-18-15, Darlene and Gary and Gary's wife, Nit and son, Ja, came to our southern California condo and they got a personal book signing!

Then, I got everyone to scooter down the hall and then Gary and his family scootered with me through the Naples Canals!

I went ice skating with my sister's daughter Cori and her son Cody's two oldest children, Mia and Aidan. Darlene Gilbert, who was my coach, also coached my sister ice dance (way back when), got to meet Cori and smile with her for a couple photos!

Annabelle Skates With a Friend in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York

I believe it is free to skate at the ice rink in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York.

Annabelle sent me this photo this afternoon....she skated outside in Prospect Park in Brooklyn today with a friend she is visiting in NYC. She wrote "It is harder than you think to do a double Lutz in a skirt..."
