Thanksgiving - November 23, 2017

We had a wonderful time with the Davis family and also our friend Cheryl!  Annabelle and Rebekah did most of the cooking!  In the evening there was the most beautiful Colorado sunset ever!

 

Julia and Joel - 11-21-17

Our close friend Julia Nance has toured with a different Disney On Ice show than my son Joel for the past 3 1/2 years. On Tuesday 11-21-17, Julia drove from her home in Asheville, North Carolina to Greenville, South Carolina especially to see Joel!

Annabelle Passed the Yankee Polka! 11-12-17

Annabelle Schneider-Farris passed her 8th International Ice Dance, the Yankee Polka, on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Now, she only has two more International ice dances to go until she passes all 10 International Ice Dances and earns US Figure Skating Gold Medal NUMBER SEVEN! I'm "one very proud mom" and so excited and happy!

This is a timely tribute to the late Jim Sladky who invented the dance with Judy Schwomeyer.
