I heard about Slomo’s passion of inline skating every day up and down Pacific Beach’s boardwalk. I felt I’d heard about a kindred spirit because my entire life seems to be about gliding and rolling forward on skates, a scooter, on skis, on bikes or just moving. It took a few years for me to get to San Diego, but it was so fun to scooter along with the Pacific Beach legend!
Slomo does not talk much about his daily eight miles a day skating on the beach boardwalk, but he does talk about how he meditates, plays music, and thinks about things while he skates. Much of his thoughts about life are in this book and that is the reason that I highly recommend Slomo’s book. It would also not hurt for everyone in this world to move like he does.
In 24 short chapters, Slomo explains his thoughts about each individual’s life. The last chapter sums up Slomo’s thoughts: “God’s love is the final truth.”
