Rebekah began her US Figure Skating testing with the Broadmoor Skating Club on April 24, 2005. She had just turned 9 years old -- that was 9 years ago...she's 18 now! Nine years later, she is a triple gold medalist! Kind of neat in my opinion!
Below, Rebekah smiles with Janna Blanter, Broadmoor Skating Club's test chairman. Mrs. Blanter was the test chairman the day Rebekah took her first official US Figure Skating test, the Pre-Pre Moves in the Field test, on April 24, 2005 and she was there today when Rebekah became a triple gold medalist!
It's been a journey! Thank you, Janna, for all your hard work. And....Congratulations Rebekah!
