I went to the US Figure Skating Museum today and watched about an hour of a video that showed figure skating from the 1928 Winter Olympics which took place in St. Moritz, Sweden. This is a clip that showed pair skating...now I understand where some of the pair skating moves I did as a kid in the late 1960s and early 1970s came from! There is a bit of original adagio skating too. This may be the Brunets...not sure...
The other videos did not come out all that well, but you still can see a bit of what the skating in that Olympics was like...
